APPLICATION QUESTIONS
Children
1. Why is it good to be patient?
2. What does it mean to carry a burden? It might be a good opportunity to illustrate this by having children wear a heavy backpack. Use the illustration to explain how burdens weigh our hearts down.
Parents
1. How is our perspective altered when we understand that God’s ways and God’s timing are vastly different than ours?
2. How do you know that you've truly given your burden to the Lord? Consider Philippians 4:4-7 and 1st Peter 5:6-7.
3. What is the basis for our confidence that we will be able to persevere in living by faith?
4. Apply Habakkuk 2:4 to Habakkuk's situation. How is he living by faith?
